In 2019, Lucile’s family came to our Tia Hina Children Ministry Center. Her story is both painful and full of hope. Sadly, her mother passed away while giving birth to twin boys, leaving her father to raise them alone in very challenging circumstances.
Life has never been easy for them, but the Center has been a place of support — offering spiritual care, encouragement, education, clothing, and food.
As Lucile grew, we noticed she had a serious problem with her foot — a condition called “foot in X.” This made her feel insecure, and at school she often felt isolated without friends.
In 2024, we shared with her father the opportunity of surgery through Mercy Ships. At first, he hesitated, but after encouragement and prayer, he accepted. Lucile was chosen as a beneficiary.
🙏 By God’s grace, Lucile received her surgery, and today she is doing very well! Her life has changed completely — she walks with confidence, and her smile tells the story of hope restored.
We thank God for this miracle and for everyone who supports the mission of Tia Hina.
