At Tia Hina Children Ministry, we believe that every child deserves not only love and education but also a full stomach. For the children in our care, many of whom come from families affected by extreme poverty, the school cafeteria is more than just a place to eat—it is vital for their health, well-being, and ability to learn.
For some of these children, the food they receive in the cafeteria is their only nutritious meal of the day. It gives them the energy to concentrate in class, play joyfully, and dream beyond their daily struggles. The cafeteria is also a place of dignity and equality, where every child receives the same portion, attention, and care.
Nutrition and education go hand in hand. A hungry child cannot concentrate, grow properly, and thrive. By providing balanced and varied meals, we support their physical growth and build their self-confidence and hope.
